Call the perfect game and steal strikes for your pitcher with the Spring 2026 A2K® 1734SS, a 34” catcher’s mitt pattern designed with thinner pads along the thumb and fingertips for easier receiving and pinpoint framing on the edges of the strike zone. The flawless Blonde Pro Stock® Select leather palm offers a larger catching area, while the Seafoam SuperSkin™ keeps the mitt feeling lightweight. Expert craftsmen in Japan form the A2K with an extended index finger pad, designed to offer extra cushion to improve comfort through bullpens and game days.
Key Features:
- Pro Stock® Select Leather: Pro Stock® Select leather hides are triple-sorted, a fine inspection process reviewing the leather at least three times to identify the top 5% for ideal qualities of softness, stretch and durability
- SuperSkin™: SuperSkin™ is a microfiber material that’s half the weight of Pro Stock Leather, but twice as durable. Its moisture-resistant design extends the longevity of the glove, and is easier to clean than traditional leather
- Flat Finger Binding: Flat Finger Binding gives players who prefer to play with a finger outside the glove greater comfort and control in the field. By reducing the amount of space between your finger and the back of the glove, you’ll experience less pain when making plays
- DriLex Wrist Lining: Keeps your hand dry and comfortable on the field and behind the dish
- Gradient Bold Logos: Multiple eye-catching colors in the signature Wilson(R) logos offer Pro Stock(R) ball gloves a modern appearance
- Expert Japanese Craftsmanship: Manufactured entirely in Japan by craftsmen who have been making ball gloves for decades, the A2K is formed to the perfect shape over 18 hours of labor
- Extended Index Finger Pad: A finger pad on the back of the catcher’s mitt supplies extra cushion between your index finger and the palm
- Thinner Toe Pads: Allow for easier receiving and accurate framing on edges of the strike zone
