Steal strikes at the edge of the zone with the Spring 2026 A2000® SCM23SS, a catcher’s mitt optimized for thumb-up catching and pitch framing. Thinner toe pads along the fingers create a wider catching area, allowing elite backstops to set the perfect target and secure the ball. The mitt’s Black Pro Stock® leather palm and Half-Moon Web with Spin Control Technology – a patented surface texture – empowers catchers to receive the hottest fastballs or block breaking balls in the dirt, and Seafoam SuperSnakeSkin™ reduces glove weight for total control behind home plate.
Key Features:
- Pro Stock® Leather: Premium leather known for its rugged durability and unmatched feel
- SuperSnakeSkin™: is a microfiber material that’s half the weight of Pro Stock Leather, but twice as durable – in an all-new textured design. Its moisture-resistance extends the longevity of the glove, and is easier to clean than traditional leather
- Spin Control Technology: A dimpled pattern in the Pro Stock™ Leather in the palm and web of your A2000® helps reduce the spin rate of the ball by rapidly increasing friction at the moment of contact between ball and glove
- Flat Finger Binding: Improves comfort and control for players who keep a finger outside the glove
- DriLex Wrist Lining: Wicks away moisture to keep your hand dry and comfortable
- Woven Bold Logos: Wilson’s Bold Logos with a woven pattern adding texture to the embroidery
